Mary Ann Brenchick, Executive Director
Mary Ann is originally from Maine and has a diverse background in municipal management, civil engineering, and education. She moved to the Roanoke Valley in 2015 with her husband and 2 kids. She most recently served as the Deputy Director for the Town of Vinton. Mary Ann is enthusiastic about the opportunity to continue her mission to better communities through recycling, litter prevention and reducing our carbon footprint.
Dawn Luther, Environmental Educator
Dawn lives in Roanoke County with her husband and 4 grown boys. She has a lifelong passion for education and the natural world that can be traced back 30 years ago to a job as a Summer Camp Counselor at a Nature Camp through the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs in Vesuvius, Virginia. Dawn is a Virginia Tech graduate and has many years of experience working with public schools and with non-profits throughout Virginia.
Grace Boardwine, Environmental Educator
Grace lives in Blacksburg with her fiance and dog, Lucy. She is a recent Virginia Tech graduate working on her Master’s degree. Grace grew up in Botetourt County and has always had a passion for environmental conservation. She has worked with various non-profits doing environmental outreach throughout the Roanoke and New River Valleys.
Neitcha “Nikki” Holm, Executive Assistant
Nikki started her love affair with the environment and animals from birth. Volunteering with CVC for the last few years has evolved to be a part of this amazing team as the executive assistant. She loves being involved with so many like-minded people that share the same passions. Nikki grew up being a part of her family’s vocation, animal rescue. The Sanctuary for Animals and the sister company Dawn Animal Agency as a head trainer before moving to Virginia 7 years ago. Nikki lives with her husband in Old Southwest and has a daughter in California.
