Household Hazardous Waste Day 
 

The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority now has a permanent  Household Hazardous Waste facility at the Tinker Creek Transfer Station that is provided to residents of County of Roanoke, City of Roanoke and Town of Vinton only! Commercial materials are not allowed. To get current information on what is accepted, times and location, please visit their website here.

Botetourt County will be holding its first Household Hazardous Waste Disposal event from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Botetourt Co. Solid Waste Convenience Center on Catawba Road, (just pass the Roanoke Cement Plant) at 259 Landfill Road. Information is available here.
