Join the Adopt-A-Street program!
Would you, your business, neighborhood council, community group, or family like to make a difference in the Roanoke Valley?

If you like the idea, then get a group together and commit to cleaning up a favorite Roanoke city street!

Civic and community groups, business organizations, and families have all joined the Adopt-A-Street Program to help reduce litter along the roadways.
Organizations interested in the Adopt-A-Street Program may become involved by completing an Adopt-A-Street permit form. This permit allows the group members to pick up litter within the right-of-way of their designated area.
Your group gets recognized for its environmental stewardship with an Adopt-A-Street sign displayed at both ends of your route.

Check out the highlighted routes on the map to see where litter is already being picked up and areas in most need of your help.

Pick up supplies
You can let us know when and where you will be cleaning up on the registration form in block 2, and we’ll have all of your supplies ready at our office for pick up.

Report
Report your litter data here. This is a very important step that helps us track litter and apply for funding to provide future supplies and programming.
