CVC provides free preK-12 educational resources and programming for school systems, the public, and the municipalities in the cities of Roanoke and Salem, the counties of Botetourt and Roanoke, and the Town of Vinton. The Clean Valley Council’s programs reach youth and adults of all ages and demographics.

We use science-based curricula to inform and educate the students about sustainability and the ways in which we interact and influence the environment. Our programs focus on specific topics and address issues relating to conserving waterways, how humans use natural resources, and sustainable land management. All CVC programs are based on Virginia Standards of Learning requirements.
