About The Event
Rain barrels make it easy to collect water for your lawn, garden or indoor plants. You can build your own rain barrel (made from a reused Coca-Cola syrup drum) at this FREE workshop and take it home!
Clean Valley Council hosts these workshops for Roanoke City residents. Participants can receive a 10 percent Roanoke stormwater credit for installing their rain barrel at home.
Register online at CarilionClinic.org/Calendar or call (800) 422-8482. Select one of two sessions: from 4:30-6 p.m. or from 6-7:30 p.m. Each session is limited to 12 participants.
Morningside Urban Farm is located at the end of Morgan Avenue on the right side of the street. Please park on this side of the street. These workshops will be canceled or rescheduled in the event of rain or extreme heat. Registered attendees will be notified via email.
